The Jazz Jam is a monthly jazz session held on the third Thursday each month in St Albans at the Portland Arms. Any jazz musicians interested in performing are invited to get in touch Contact
The aim of the Jazz Jam is to provide somewhere for experienced jazzers to have a blow, meet new faces and enjoy a pint of Fullers, and for relatively inexperienced players to get the feel of a live jazz session, make connections with other musicians and have a small glass of lemonade. So far over the last few years it has been successful at doing all of those things and looks set to continue in the current venue at the Portland Arms which is a really nice pub. jazz jam blog
Jazz nights at the Rose and Crown the last Monday each month is a jazz night with my trio plus invited guest players.
